Freedom Pass

It would appear that I'm eligible for a Freedom Pass, under disability grounds.

I should totally go and apply.

It's totally worth it, it'll save you a fortune. I wish I'd applied sooner... it said on the application that you must be "permanently" resident in one of the London boroughs. At the time I was living in student halls in Uxbridge, so I thought "It's not exactly permanant, is it?" so I didn't bother. But then when money got really tight I thought "sod it, I'll go and ask, the worst they can do is say no." But, they gave me one!

Back then it was only valid between 9:30am and 5am. They changed the rules about a year later, so it's now valid 24hrs on buses, tubes, trams and the DLR, but still only after 9:30am on national rail services within London.

I had no idea you have dyspraxia. I didn't know what it was until just now when I looked it up on google.

Yeah... It's not something I try to hide or anything... it's just something that doesn't really come up in conversation all that often, I guess.

But yeah. Born with it, caused me hell through school, and still causes me a few problems at uni, and has the side effect of abysmal short-term memory. YAY! :)

Interesting....

I would imagine it doesn't have many online affects =).

I have a terrible short-term memory myself. I absorb information and "how to..." knowledge like a sponge, but I can't tell you what I ate for lunch yesterday or even people's names.
